After closing on March 14 because of the COVID-19 pandemic, visitors will again be able to explore the Midtown location of the Atlanta Botanical Garden and also at the Atlanta Botanical Garden’s Gainesville location while still enjoying a crowd-free experience.
The Midtown garden has reopened only its outdoor spaces with the new summer exhibition of giant plant sculptures, Alice’s Wonderland Reimagined and also the Children's Garden. Indoors, guests can enjoy the tropical beauty of Orchid Daze in the Fuqua Conservatory and Orchid Center, as well as the Longleaf restaurant and the Garden Gift Shop – all with limited hours and reduced capacity.
The Atlanta Botanical Garden’s Gainesville is located at 1911 Sweetbay Drive in Gainesville, GA 30501. They can be reached by phone at 404-888-4760. The Gainesville Garden and Children's Garden are also both open Sunday, Tuesday – Thursday, 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. and Friday – Saturday 9 a.m. – 8 p.m. The gardens are closed on Mondays.
