AURORA DAY CAMP FOR CHILDREN WITH CANCER

Aurora Day Camp, for children ages 3 ½ - 16, is the only dedicated full summer day camp in the world for children with cancer and their siblings. It is a camp designed to meet the emotional, social, recreational and physical needs of these children while allowing them to enjoy the comforts and safety of their own homes at night. Aurora Day Camp offers a FREE, 6 ½ week camping experience to all children being treated for cancer and their siblings on a non-sectarian basis.

Though 6 ½ weeks of camp programming is offered, children may register and attend any and every day they feel well enough to do so.

Aurora Day Camp offers a full, multi-week summer activity program plus year-round camp-like programs. These additional programs take place at our campgrounds and other locations that provide exclusive use of their facilities. Additionally, our in-hospital program Aurora On Wheels allows children to experience "camp" in the hospital by providing activities for those who are awaiting treatment.

Aurora Day Camp is located at The Alfred and Adele Davis Academy in Sandy Springs from June 10- July 25. If you or anyone you may know could benefit from our program, we hope that you will pass along the information. Registration is officially live and can be accessed on our website.
