FREE EVENT🦋 JOIN THE GREAT SOUTHEAST POLLINATOR CENSUS AT AUTREY MILL

By PSA August 19, 2024

The Great Southeast Pollinator Census is a citizen science project created by the University of Georgia. This project is designed for everyone to participate and make a difference for pollinator conservation! Watch the video to learn more about how to join the count.

Your family can help create and restore pollinator habitats across Georgia for butterflies, bees, moths, hummingbirds and other animals by participating!

Autrey Mill Nature Preserve, the North Fulton Master Gardeners, and the University of Georgia Extension Office are excited to participate in the Great Southeast Pollinator Census on August 24th from 10 AM to 12 PM. This is a fantastic opportunity to connect with nature, learn about pollinators, and contribute to vital citizen science research.

All supplies will be provided, and it will only take 15 minutes of your time! Bring your family and friends to this FREE EVENT to help us count and observe our local pollinators, including bees, butterflies, and more, in one of three beautiful gardens at Autrey Mill Nature Preserve. Your participation will help provide valuable data to support pollinator conservation efforts across the Southeast.

Registration for this FREE event is not required; walk-ups are welcome. Anyone under 18 must have an adult guardian at the walk-up to sign the liability waiver. An adult must accompany anyone under 14 for the entire event.
