Yippee, school is finally out for the summer! But now, the task is to find fun activities that the whole family can enjoy, especially if you have tweens or teens that are just too cool for everything! But don't despair, I have discovered the perfect solution! Johnny (14 years old), Charlie( 8 years old) and I were invited to be the guests the newly-opened Museum of Illusions Atlanta last week and we all three thought it was absolutely amazing!

Museum of Illusions Atlanta is a one-of-a-kind experience. Located in the heart of Midtown Atlanta in Atlantic Station, this museum offers visitors an interactive and immersive journey through the world of optical illusions and mystifying puzzles. It's huge! With over 80 exhibits to explore, we were mesmerized by mind-bending illusions, holograms and gravity-defying spaces that provided lots of fun along with some fascinating educational explanations.

We walked through a swirling vortex that made us hang on for fear of falling...

Then we entered a world where we became midgets and giants or dare-devils as we hung from skyscrapers.

After defying gravity, we found our heads served up for someone else's dinner.

Amazing holograms blew our minds, then we entered a roomful of puzzles that none of us could solve!

They tell you to allow about an hour to go through the exhibit, but we were there for well over 2 hours and frankly could have stayed longer, but we were hungry after using all that brain power! To say that we loved it would be the understatement of the year. The boys both gave this experience 10 out of 10 stars and feel confident that your family will also!

With over 40 locations in 25 countries spanning the globe – including New York, Dallas, and Chicago as well as global cities such as Paris, Dubai, Madrid, and Rome, and another 5 currently under construction – Museum of Illusions stands as the largest chain of privately-owned museums worldwide.

"After much anticipation, Museum of Illusions is now open in Atlanta – giving both locals and visitors an unforgettable experience unlike any other. This vibrant city is the perfect location due to its diverse population of families and its easy accessibility from across the region," said Jonathan Benjamin, CEO of Museum of Illusions, and long-time Atlanta resident. "Our commitment to Atlanta also extends beyond the Museum experience, as it will also serve as the North America headquarters for our company. We look forward to cementing the Museum’s presence as both a prominent local headquarters and as one of Atlanta’s most interesting places to visit.”
