APRIL 10: NATIONAL SIBLINGS DAY
Siblings. They are our best friends or our worst enemies. At times, siblings will provide us with our biggest competition, strongest encouragement and remind us of our most embarrassing moments. A great way to celebrate today would be for your kids to make a list of all the things they like and admire about each of their siblings or to do something special for each sibling today. It's also a great day for moms and dads to reach out to their own siblings!
APRIL 20: FREE NATIONAL PARKS DAY
Combine great scenery and history with great savings and visit a national park for FREE on one of six fee-free days scheduled for this year including today! Georgia has 13 areas that are included in the National Park Service.

APRIL 22-30: PASSOVER
If you are not Jewish, you may not know the story behind this festival. Passover is the festival of freedom and celebrates the Israelites’ Exodus from over 100 years of slavery in Egypt. The rituals passed down through each generation include reading the Haggadah which tells the story, asking traditional questions, singing ancient songs and eating the main Passover meal called a Seder. Like most other holidays, the Passover Seder contains traditional foods and family favorites.
Read LET MY PEOPLE GO to learn foods, songs and games that will make this holiday not only meaningful, but tons of fun the kids will look forward to every year!
APRIL 24: NATIONAL ARBOR DAY
Planting a tree is like planting a little bit of hope!
APRIL 28: PAY IT FORWARD DAY
