The year is 1986. The town is Hawkins. But the location is Atlanta. Katie and I have volunteered to participate in a "sleep study" at the infamous Hawkins Lab. After a series of tests that revealed our supernatural powers, we were chased into into the parallel universe of the Upside Down to save Eleven and Max who were trapped there.
This brand new storyline, developed exclusively with the Duffer Brothers, launched us on a adrenaline-fueled adventure through the darker side of Hawkins where we used our powers in a gauntlet of terrors to defeat Demogorgons, huge bats and Vecna himself! The special effects were realistic enough to get my heart racing and I may or may not have screamed like a little girl and hidden behind Katie several times.
I definitely agree with the age requirements due to some of the language and the intensity level. This experience is recommended for ages 13+ and all minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Due to the nature of the experience and special effects, children under 5 will not be admitted.
After our perilous escape from the Upside Down, we were free to explore Mix-Tape, where we hung out in the Byers sitting room, grabbed a sundae at Scoops Ahoy, attempted to knock off MADMAX’s high score at the Palace Arcade, tried some unique cocktails at the first ever Stranger Things themed bar, snatched up exclusive merchandise, and has a blast in the photo booth!

We loved all of the 80's music and even joined in a high energy dance to Foot Loose! There are lots of great places for photo ops so be sure to wear your head bands, legs warmers and ripped jeans and bring your camera!

Netflix and experience discovery platform Fever have teamed up to deliver a new immersive multimedia Stranger Things experience. Here, fans are thrown into a world of supernatural mystery and 80s nostalgia in an epic celebration of the Stranger Things universe.
“We know our Stranger Things fans will embrace the chance to be the heroes of the story, working alongside Eleven, Mike and the rest of the gang to fight the evil threatening to consume Hawkins,” says Greg Lombardo, Head of Experiences at Netflix. “Fans love losing themselves in the world when they watch the show. Now, for the first time, they will literally be able to live an episode from the series.”
Fans can expect mind-blowing audiovisual effects but are warned that they will also have to face their fears as things can quickly turn uʍop ǝpᴉsdn. The immersive multimedia experience lasts for 50 minutes + unlimited time at Mix-Tape.
