We love to host ticket giveaway contests for two reasons:
- First, as a benefit to our subscribers. With prices going up each day, it is harder and harder to afford tickets for many families, especially those with 2 or more kids. Discount deals and giveaway contests help make fun, family events more affordable.
- Secondly, to promote local businesses that provide family-friendly and date-night events and entertainment.
When we approach those businesses to request deals or tickets to give away, the first thing they look at, after our number of subscribers, is our social media reach. More and more, businesses rely on social media for advertising, so the stronger our social media reach grows, the more deals and giveaways we can provide.
Liking, commenting and sharing any of our posts on Facebook and Instagram is essential to increasing our appeal to those businesses, and as a result getting more opportunities for you.
We encourage you to interact by giving bonus entries as part of our contests. Not only does it increase our appeal to businesses, it greatly increases your chances of winning! Almost all of our winners have done at least a few of them. But, our last winner won 4 Georgia Aquarium tickets by doing them all. Those 17 bonus entries really paid off for her!
So, our 6 best tips to help you win are the following:
- Only fill out ONE entry form. The program will automatically void all of your entries if there are duplicate email addresses.
- Be sure that your email address is correct. That's how you will be notified that you won.
- Like and comment on both Facebook and Instagram. You can comment more than once and each comment gets you another bonus entry. (NOTE: I have added a question about your Instagram account name so that I can recognize and credit you.)
- Tag your friends. Again, you get a bonus entry for EACH one.
- SHARE the contest on your Facebook page. You get 5 BONUS ENTRIES for doing this because it is so important. But, you MUST SEND A LINK TO YOUR FACEBOOK POST. Once it's verified, you will get those 5 bonus entries!
- Keep entering!. We have lots of entries for our contests, but if you are patient and consistent, you will will.
