Atlanta Lyric Theatre presents the sweeping romantic classic, CAMELOT at the February 7-23, 2020.
A Broadway triumph which led to a beloved film as well as countless revivals across the world, Lerner and Loewe’s Camelot is a powerful classic. A timeless love story and grand adventure, with memorable favorites as “If Ever I Would Leave You”, “The Lusty Month of May” and of course “Camelot”, its charm and hope are eternal.
Leading the cast are COREY WRIGHT as ARTHUR, LYNDSAY RICKETSON as Guenevere and J.D. MEYERS as LANCELOT. WRIGHT makes a royal return to the Lyric stage after last appearing in LEGALLY BLONDE. His ill fated love, GUENEVERE is played by RICKETSON whom Lyric audiences may remember as Evelyn Nesbitt in RAGTIME performed at the Earl Strand. MEYERS joins us again following a turn in this past fall’s JEKYLL & HYDE.
Rounding out the star studded showcase of local talent are CLAUDIO PESTANA as MERLYN, JEANETTE ILLIDGE as NIMUE, GREG HUNTER as PELLINORE, and DANIEL PINO as MORDRED. The cast also features ALYSSA FLOWERS, AMY L. LEVIN, ANNALIESE BAUER, JACOB VALLEROY, JEREMY GEE, LAUREN ABEL, MEGAN ZHANG, NATHANIEL JAMES CURRY, REUBAN REESE, SARAH GRACE VALLEROY and TRUMAN GRIFFIN
