Kids' Early New Year's Eve Celebration at Stone Mountain Park
Because kids are just as excited to ring in the New Year as their parents—but need to be in bed before midnight—Stone Mountain Park is set to host an early New Year’s Eve Celebration. During Stone Mountain Christmas on Dec. 31, Stone Mountain Park will operate the Christmas event as usual and then we'll ring in the early New Year with a magical snowfall and early 2019 countdown. Immediately after the Snow Angel Snowfall and Fireworks, the New Year’s Eve activities will begin with costumed characters, music and a dance along. At 8:59 p.m., the early New Year countdown will begin and when the clock strikes 9 p.m., more snow and fireworks will usher in the early New Year!
Noon Year's Eve at Fernbank Museum of Natural History
MUST PURCHASE TICKETS IN ADVANCE
Ring in the New Year a full twelve hours early with Atlanta's biggest party animals! This special family celebration will include a kid's DJ, an appearance by the Georgia Bubbleman, party hats for the first 500 guests, and a countdown to a balloon drop at noon. A separate ticket purchase is required for this special event (applies to both members and non-members). Space is limited and this event will sell out quickly. Advance ticket purchase required.
Noon Year's Eve at Ponce City Roof (Skyline Park)
Grab the kiddos and head to Skyline Park for our special “Noon Year’s Eve” celebration beginning at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, December 31! We'll have entertainers, complimentary kid’s snacks, arts & crafts stations, balloon artists and face painters! When the clock strikes 11:59 a.m., the crowd will gather for a countdown to noon, celebrated by a rooftop balloon release. And don't worry -- we will be using bio-degradable balloons to keep the release eco-friendly!
Stay Home and Throw Your Own New Year's Eve Bash!
Although many adults go out to a club or nightspot to ring in the New Year, families with younger kids often prefer to stay home on New Year's Eve. All you really need to celebrate with kids is party hats, confetti, and noisemakers. Add some kid-friendly snacks? It's the perfect family New Year's Eve celebration! And guess what? You don't even have to stay up until midnight! If you have younger kids and know they won't last, celebrate the New Year a few hours early or even host a "Noon Year's Eve" bash.
