DADS GET IN FREE (or almost free!) ON FATHER'S DAY!

Many locations in our area want to help you treat your MacDaddy to a fun day for the whole family!  We have compiled a list of places Dad can get in FREE or at a highly discounted rate:


Atlanta History Center: Sunday, June 19th - Admission is FREE for the whole family at this family program, Juneteenth, which focuses on the appreciation and commemoration of the end of slavery in the United States. Guests explore the themes of freedom and family history through activities and crafts.

Chattahoochee Nature Center: Sunday, June 19th-  Visit the nature center on Father’s Day, where dads and grandpas get in FREE for a picnic, on-site programs, the Wildlife Walk and the River Boardwalk Trail.

College Football Hall of Fame: Sunday, June 19th Have Dad show off his leg on Father’s Day! All Dads get in FREE with the purchase of a regular price ticket and the first 100 Dads through the door will receive a $25 gift card courtesy of The Home Depot.

Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield: Sunday, June 19th-  Join historian Phillip Whiteman on a short and interactive walk around Cheatham Hill, the Illinois Monument, and the Dead Angle.  This is Mr. Whiteman's 16th year doing this FREE program on Father's Day in honor of his own father and love of history. Programs typically last 30 – 45 minutes. Because this program is held outdoors, it will be weather dependent. *This program is not at the Visitor Center; parking is at 947 Cheatham Hill Dr. Marietta (the Illinois Monument parking lot)

North Georgia Wildlife Park in Cleveland: Saturday & Sunday, June 18 & 9th- Dads get FREE admission with paid children and adult admission. 10 a.m.-5 p.m. $24.99; ages 2-11, $22.99; ages 1 and younger, free.

Stone Mountain Park - Sunday, June 19th:  FREE  Lasershow Spectacular in Mountainvision®! This not-to-be-missed Atlanta tradition promises to wow your family with state-of-the-art digital graphics and awe-inspiring effects. Nightly at 9:30 pm.

The Fringe in Roswell: Friday, Saturday & Sunday, June 17-19: Enjoy a game of mini golf, as dads can play for FREE with a regular child or adult ticket. $9-$13.50; ages 3-12, $6-$9; ages 2 and younger, FREE.
