February 20, 2019

Summer camps offer a great experience for children to gain independence, form unique friendships and learn new skills!  Camps offer opportunities that simply aren't available in most schools.  Whether the camp is a day camp a neighborhood, DIY camp,  or a sleep-away camp, it allows for your child to immerse themselves in a whole different world!

Listed below are some camps we feel are the perfect fit for our Macaroni Kid families!  Some of them even offer discounts for Macaroni Kid readers!  Just click on the image to view the camp's article/description.

We will be adding camps as we receive information, so be sure to check back as you're making your summer plans!

ADVENTURE CAMPS

Camp Autrey Mill

Autrey Mill’s camp emphasizes re-connecting children 4 to 14 years old with nature and history and giving kids a break from competitive activities and ever-present technology. We keep campers engaged with plenty of activities and learning opportunities, but there is always time to examine what’s under a log, catch a tadpole, or to imagine living in the past through time traveling history, heritage dolls and cooking skills and recipes from bygone eras.

The Coder School- Johns Creek

At the Coder School, we want to do more than just teach coding. We want aspiring coders, ages 7 to 18 years, to use their new found passion as a stepping stone to thinking outside the box, as a way to channel their ideas in a creative way and most importantly, to have fun.

Our summer camps are run in our school from 9 AM -3 PM Monday - Friday. Kids bring their own lunches and water bottles and we'll take care of the rest! Kids code throughout the week then demo their week's creations later that afternoon.
