25 BOOKS 'TILL CHRISTMAS!

Counting the days, one book at the time!

By Becky Samford, MK Publisher, Duluth, Norcross, Suwanee, Johns Creek & Peachtree Corners November 27, 2016
The one bedtime ritual that was written in stone in our house was a bedtime story every night, no exceptions! So it was only natural to choose books about Christmas during December.

Every year, I wrapped all 24 books and placed them in a stack by my bed. Each night, beginning on December 1st, the kids chose one book to unwrap and we would read it together in my bed. As the stack grew shorter, they knew exactly how many more days until Santa would come! We always ended on Christmas Eve with my favorite, The Gifts of the Magi. It was a fun way to count down to Christmas but it also created a precious Christmas tradition to pass down to their own children.

Here is a list of some of our favorites (plus a few extra!).
