Adventure to Santa Now Open at North Point Mall!

By Erin Stolle, Publisher - Macaroni Kid Alpharetta/Roswell/Milton November 15, 2015

Maybe you've seen it as you've walked through North Point Mall recently. "What's in that house, Mama?" the kids ask. "Look, it's Shrek!" they shriek with excitement. Shrek? Where's Santa? Ah, yes. Welcome to Adventure to Santa, a DreamWorks DreamPlace embodying a captivating and interactive Santa adventure for the entire family!
Back for its second year, families have the opportunity to enjoy this interactive experience as Santa's elves lead you through a 2000-square-foot building filled with humorous storytelling between the elves and the popular DreamWorks characters, flight school where the kids can get ready for "flying" the sleigh to the North Pole, a 4D flight experience, decorating cookies, and of course, a visit with the big man himself....Santa!
My boys and I had the chance to experience Adventure to Santa for the first time about a week ago. From start to finish, my boys were mesmerized by the telling of the stories. They loved practicing their flying in flight school and still talk about how my youngest son beat his older brother's time. Sitting in the sleigh and feeling like you're actually soaring through the air, wind literally blowing through your hair, and the special effects making you believe you're traveling to the North Pole was truly a highlight for all of us! My youngest started out a little nervous, but once we got going, he was whooping and hollering with the rest of us. It was so much fun!
Once we "landed" at the North Pole, we were led into a room where the boys were able to decorate cookies before they met with Santa. Soon thereafter, Santa greeted them by name (my youngest is still super-impressed by this!), and spent several minutes visiting with each of them, making sure he heard all of their wishes. The team of elves ensures you'll get a good photo from their visit by taking several shots throughout their visit.
Though you can drop-in and get a place in line for the Adventure to Santa, I highly recommend you make a reservation to ensure a timely visit. Reservations can be made online at www.adventuretosanta.com with the purchase of a photo package. Photo packages range from $39.99 to $73.99. If you wish to just visit Santa without purchasing a photo package, you may stop by the attraction and the elves will work to find you an available time. Please note that photos are not allowed within Adventure to Santa.

My boys and I had a lot of fun experiencing Adventure to Santa this year! It was a very memorable experience and a highlight of our holiday season. It will certainly put you in the Christmas spirit, and maybe, just maybe, you'll find yourself believing right along with your kids!

Adventure to Santa is open daily during mall hours through December 24th.
