January 26, 2014
Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey has partnered with libraries throughout the metro Atlanta area to host Reading with Ringling, beginning Jan.7-31, 2014. All branches of the Atlanta-Fulton Public Library System and Gwinnett Library System will be participating, along with many outlying suburban cities.

Reading with Ringling is a unique reading program that earns kids a Ringling Bros. circus ticket by simply doing their library reading.
Children ages two-12 simply need to enroll with the librarian, and report their reading results. Participants need to record at least five books to earn a FREE ticket to any the shows appearing at The Arena at Gwinnett Center and Philips Arena.

Rob Lok, Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey’s “Ambassador of Laughter” will make a special appearance at select libraries throughout the metro Atlanta area to help kick off this engaging program. Lok is no class clown but is certain to add amusement to a special 30-minute circus story time that will not only encourage children to read but also to discover, dream and learn!

The Reading with Ringling program is sponsored by the WSB-TV Family 2 Family Project. These circus library readings are free and open to the public.
