Metro Atlanta:
Spooky Wagon Rides
Friday, Oct 24, 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. 
Saturday, Oct 25, 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. 
Hard Labor Creek State Park - Rutledge, GA 
Join park staff and volunteers on this frightful wagon ride through a dark and creepy forest. Meet a strange and ghastly cast of characters along the way. Wagon will depart from beach parking lot; each ride lasts about 20 minutes. Rides will be first come, first serve. $10 plus $5 parking. 706-557-3001.

Northern Georgia:
Haunted Hills Hayride
Friday, Oct 24, 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. 
Saturday, Oct 25, 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. 
Friday, Oct 31, 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. 
Victoria Bryant State Park - Royston, GA 
Join our annual spooktacular haunted hayrides, which are fun for all ages. Come early because ticket sales close at 10 p.m.. We'll be showing a movie, have a bonfire and we will have refreshments for sale. $5 plus $5 parking. 706-245-6270.

Middle & South Georgia:
Graveyard Road
Fridays Oct 24 and Oct 31, 7 p.m.
Saturdays Oct 25 and Nov 1, 7 p.m.
Reed Bingham State Park - Adel, GA 
Don't forget to bring your scared face at the annual Haunted trail. Enjoy a leisurely hay ride until you turn into the dreaded haunted house. $3 plus $5 parking. 229-896-3551.

Haunted Tour of Liberty Hall
Saturday, Oct 25, 8:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. 
A.H. Stephens State Park - Crawfordville, GA 
Enjoy a spook-filled guided tour of Liberty Hall. Did you know that A.H. Stephens was imprisoned at Fort Warren in Boston, Mass.? Did you also know that the infamous "Lady in Black" roamed the prison halls? It is rumored that this "Lady in Black" followed Mr. Stephens home and now roams the grounds making all the spirits restless. $1 - $5. 706-456-2602.

Thomas the Tank Engine
October 25, 26
SAM Shortline Train - Cordele, GA 
For two weekends only, Thomas will visit the SAM Shortline Excursion Train at Georgia Veterans State Park in southwest Georgia. You can spend a whole day with the beloved storybook engine, Sir Topham Hatt and other friends. Thomas departs at several times daily. Ticket fee varies. 1-877-427-2457.

Fala Day
Saturday, Oct 25, 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. 
Roosevelt's Little White House Historic Site - Warm Springs, GA 
Sponsored By the Scottish Terrier Club of Greater Atlanta, the club will honor Fala where he walked. This year will mark the 30th annual event paying tribute to one of the most famous of all presidential dogs. $9-$14. 706-655-5870.

Coastal Georgia:
Haunted Trail
Friday, Oct 24 and Saturday, Oct 25, 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. 
Skidaway Island State Park - Savannah, GA 
If you dare, wind through dark shadows in the haunted woods, where zombies roam free. A ranger will guide you into the graveyard beneath ancient oak trees. Keep close together and perhaps you will be safe from the ghosts and ghouls drifting under moonlight darkened by looming clouds and fog. $5 plus $5 parking. 912-598-2300.
