NORCROSS JAZZ IN THE ALLEY
May 3,  June 21, September 27 & October 18 at 7PM.
A seasonal concert series showcasing various Atlanta-based jazz fusionists with musical backgrounds in funk, hip-hop, r&b and folk. The outdoor event is FREE to attend and patrons are encouraged to bring chairs, picnic baskets and their favorite beverages to the casual outdoor event. Last Week, ends April 27th: Aurora Theatre: "Mariela in the Desert"
It is 1950 and artists Mariela and José are living an isolated existence in the desert of Northern Mexico, haunted by the ghost of their young son. José is very ill and Mariela sends a telegram to their daughter encouraging her to come home. Where once the walls were beautifully decorated, now only one painting remains, and it is shrouded in mystery. This play will be performed in Spanish with English supertitles. This production features and amazing cast including the stunning Blanca Agüero in the title role of Mariela and Aurora Theatre Producing Artistic Director Anthony P. Rodriguez as her husband, the ailing artist José.

May 1–25: Aurora Theatre: "Don't Dress for Dinner"
 In this this hilarious romp through the French countryside, Bernard concocts a romantic rendezvous with his mistress with an alibi courtesy of his friend, Robert. But Bernard’s wife decides on a surprise tryst of her own. With a gourmet cook and a randy mistress—both named Suzy—a wacky collision course of mistaken identity and outrageous infidelity ensues. By the author of Aurora’s 2010 hit Boeing-Boeing.
