Atlanta History Center: June 18th - 19th - Admission is FREE for the whole family at this two-day family program, Juneteenth, which focuses on the appreciation and commemoration of the end of slavery in the United States. Guests explore the themes of freedom and family history through activities and crafts.
College Football Hall of Fame: June 19th Have Dad show off his leg on Father’s Day! Dads can enjoy their special day with FREE admission and a special Hall of Fame gift with the purchase of a regular price ticket.
Fernbank Museum of Natural History- June 19th - This Father’s Day, Fernbank Museum of Natural History presents Superhero Day, a fun-filled event for families to honor the most important superhero of them all – Dad! On Sunday, June 19 from noon to 4 p.m., Fernbank will host live superhero characters, interactive games, comic book artists and special activities. Guests are encouraged to come dressed in their most heroic gear and participate in the Superhero Costume Contest with DJ Willy Wow to win awesome prizes. FREE Museum admission for dads and for community superheroes (firefighters, police officers, military and EMTs) in uniform.

At 10 AM, celebrate Ozzie’s birthday! He’s the world’s oldest living male gorilla, and he’s the father, grandfather and great-grandfather of many gorillas at the Zoo and around the U.S. The one-and-only Ozzie the western lowland gorilla is 55 this year!
