JOHNS CREEK POLICE ARE FREEZIN' FOR A REASON!!

February 7, 2016
Hey! Want to do something adventurous and crazy different for a good cause? Just trick, I mean enlist some friends and sign up for the 7th Annual Polar Plunge at Lake Lanier on February 20th to benefit Special Olympics Georgia! Click HERE to register... easy peasy!

Whaaaat! Jumping into freezing cold water in the middle of February is not your idea of fun? What's wrong with you!!

Fortunately, there are others are far braver than you (and me!) Come out to cheer them on between 11-3. There will be the Craziest Costume Contest, music, games, food and fun for everyone! Plus a CASH CUBE where someone will grab as much cash as possible in 20 seconds! The actual plunge itself will take place between 1:30 pm and 3:00 pm.

For the 5th year in a row, Johns Creek's finest will be Johns Creek's coldest as they take the plunge! And you can join their team with a warmer alternative!

You can help them raise money for this worthy organization with a donation. Special Olympics Georgia (SOGA) is a statewide year-round sports program for Georgia’s children and adults with intellectual disabilities. All donations received go directly to benefit the 26,700 athletes of Special Olympics Georgia. Johns Creek Police and their friends raised more than $40,000 in the 2015 Polar Plunge and they really want to beat that amount this year!

You can donate any amount. Click HERE to visit the JCPD donation page and join their team! Of course, you don't get the tee-shirt, but you also don't get wet (or pneumonia)! Now that really was easy, peasy!  GO YOU!!!
