We could not have afforded the price for the ticket so you made our holiday  even more special. Thank you :-)

Grandma & Santa

I wanted to share this story- I have no idea where it came from, I got it in an email, but it touched my heart.-Brenda

I remember my first Christmas adventure with Grandma. I was just a kid.

I remember tearing across town on my bike to visit her on the day my big sister dropped the bomb: "There is no Santa Claus," she jeered. "Even dummies know that!"

My Grandma was not the gushy kind, never had been. I fled to her that day because I knew she ...

Paperwhites: A great inexpensive present!!

Potted "Paper Whites" were my favorite "teacher present" when my children were small because they are VERY easy to assemble and are a very inexpensive gift. Everyone loves Paper White Narcissus because they are beautiful, fast growing, and they fill your home with a wonderful fragrance.  They make great, easy gifts for friends also!

Get vases or any decorative container that has an opening of at least 3 to 4 inches across (to fit the bulb into it).  I usually go to the dollar store and buy medium sized vases ...

Rebekah covered in paint and glitter, Amanda with hot glue stuck in her hair, James so proud of the clothespin reindeer that he made even though the antlers were on the chin and the googly eyes were on it's rear!! Here are ...

R. Riveter

The spirit of Rosie lives on

Last weekend, I stopped by a local Winter Arts Market. While browsing through the booths, my eye was immediately caught by some leather and canvas totes. I made a bee line to investigate. I loved them! They were rugged and yet very handsome and well made.

I was intrigued by the name, R.Riveter. So I approached the two women in the booth. "Are one of you Ms Riveter?" I inquired. They looked at each other and chuckled. "No, I'm Cameron Cruse and this is Lisa Bradley. We are ...
