For well over 50 years, Atlantans have started their holiday traditions by riding the Macy’s Pink Pig.  This year, kids of all ages are invited to ride the Macy’s Pink Pig train atop Lenox Square Mall. Sunday, November 20 - An Elf's Story at the Fox

Join Santa and his Elves with the 23-minute world premiere of the 2011 Christmas animated spectacular, An Elf's Story, based on the best-selling Christmas book and character The Elf on the Shelf.   In the spirit of Christmas, a Candy Cane carpet will be rolled out, with 100% of the net proceeds of the event benefiting Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. The doors to the winter wonderland will open at 2:30pm, where children can play in Santa’s workshop, indulge at the hot cocoa station, decorate delicious Christmas cookies, design their own keepsake ornament, write letters to their family’s elf and take pictures with the mascot elves until the 4:30pm screening of the movie.

This partnership of 16 countries has opened up new frontiers of international cooperation, as well as the peaceful and productive pursuit of new worlds. The space station is the most powerful spacecraft ever built in orbit and is permanently crewed and operated 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Do you know a Star of Tomorrow? Variety of Georgia is looking for bright teenagers who fit the bill! Hopefuls 13-19 years old can get in on the vocal action to gain experience, exposure and the opportunity to pursue their dreams. Eligible teens across Georgia can submit videos of their best performances electronically. After event coordinators approve submissions, they will upload entries at www.youtube.com/varietyofgeorgia. Contestants can also share their videos with friends & family to leverage their networks & gain exposure. Stars of Tomorrow hosts its final competition at The Fox Theatre on March 11, 2012.
